>Hey anon, you ever check out Heyuri? It's a project the old 9chan dev team set up in the interest of preserving old internet culture.
Quick correction for anyone lurking; Heyuri has no affiliation with 9chan other than Kuz who I brought on board because I was looking for a second admin and he had experience running an imageboard before.
Heyuri is many things and what Heyuri is really about often gets lost in context.
What is Heyuri about in terms of discussing? Anime+
What are Heyuri's goals? To rival the likes of 4chan and Futaba Channel and make the internet better.
What kind of website is Heyuri? An anonymous message board.
And each context can be expanded upon but what Heyuri is really supposed to be about is to be an English alternative to Futaba Channel and 5channel (formerly 2channel) while also experimenting with other kinds of services/features such as /vote/. This was 4chan's original purpose. But not even that is the full explanation.
Of course, that's not the full answer. There are many threads going into what Heyuri is really about but I can say this;
Heyuri is NOT a revival of 9chan.
Heyuri's sole purpose is NOT nostalgia and old internet culture.

If you look at the distribution of posts made across all boards, on average /b/ accounts for around 60% of all posts on Heyuri, which I think is pretty good

Compare that to 4chan's first 3 years, where /b/ contained around 90% of the whole site's activity

Text doesn't wrap when it should and it goes off the edge of the screen. This happens whenever there's a long paragraph. The box here is also not wide enough to contain the text. I've only noticed it happening for that reply though.

It's hard to test with. Try inspect element-ing it and it disappears.
I tried fixing it for a while but it's an inconsistent bug and I eventually gave up.

The oekaki applet is PaintBBS NEO and it's actually done in JavaScript so... if I where to make it into a program it would be more like a specialized browser like the dicksword app.
It's actually the one used on Futaba Channel (2chan) too.
I could probably take a crack at making a separate paint program with the same functionality in the same style.

5. Divide the PPD by 24 to get the PPH

So on 2020-08-06 the last post on /b/ was No.7328, and on 2020-08-08 the last post on /b/ was No.7572,
(2020/08/10 - 2020/08/08) = 2 days,
(7572 - 7328) = 244 posts,
(244 posts / 2 days) = an average of 122 posts per day,
(122 PPD / 24 hours) = 5.0833 posts per hour

Those big peaks coincide with the GETs - for the most part it's when some CHEATER tries to rig it by sagespamming dead threads, covertly bumping up the post number

The trough between July 10th and July 12th was teh server crash ;_;, and the one between July 30th and August 3rd was the multi-faceted phenomenom that prompted >>1656

I wonder if the massive peak on July 6th (the day of the 4K GET) had anything to do with the server crash on July 10th...
